Run

hmx

Honeymux starts its own backing tmux server by spawning it with -L honeymux passed as the socket-name argument. Unlike tmux, only one instance of Honeymux may run at a time.

Detach

Honeymux is a client of the underlying tmux server, so your workspace persists until the last window of the last backend tmux session is killed.

To detach, use the same tmux key combo you would without Honeymux (default: Ctrl-B + d), or use the eject button ( ⏏ ) from the toolbar. As long as the tmux server stays alive, you can run hmx at any time to re-attach.
